June 9, 2021Mayweather returns to the boxing scene again . Sunday’s boxing event hosted at Hard Rock Miami Stadium was full of action as the fight between the two champions Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul continued all 8 rounds without either of them being knocked out. No winner was announced as it was an exhibition event with no official judges leaving viewers disappointed.
Mayweather, 44 weighing in at 68kg and 1.73m tall, entered the ring fighting against fresh and young 26-year-old Logan Paul weighing in at 86kg and significantly taller at 1.88m tall. As we know in the game height and weight are not always determining factors and the odds can be swayed based on ability, training and sheer willpower.
Due to Logan’s lack of experience in comparison to the legend, Mayweather viewers had anticipated a much shorter match but Logan held on strong and took as much as he could.
Mayweather’s confidence may have gotten the better of him as he assumed he wouldn’t need to work all that hard to knock out the young boxer and remain the raining champion.
“I ain’t gotta use my A-game, my B game, my C game. I can use my Z game,”
Mayweather said at a media event.
However, after the fight, Mayweather commented that he “felt his age” meaning the 26-year old gave him a run for his money.
Boxing fans felt the match was full of entertainment in the true character of Paul who is also a YouTuber and internet personality. His career as a YouTuber may be a bit more solid than his boxing career with 2.7 million followers.
Both boxers went home from the pay per view event with Millions of dollars as anticipated so in essence they both left as winners and the audience got some great entertainment.
