The Trio Fuelling Remote Workers

July 19, 2022Some found the global pandemic as a time to learn new hobbies or work harder than ever before which soon meant more room for unhealthy eating whilst trying to get jobs done. A trio of early twenty-year-olds including Kieran Fitzgerald, Sonny Drinkwater and Joshua Barley took this into consideration and created a solution to improve health.
As the founders of ‘Snackcess’, the entrepreneurs wanted to simplify healthy living and improve employee health by providing snack boxes that contain premium organic foods for companies to post to employees working from home.
The three businessmen had always been curious behind the science behind nutrition and having a balanced approach to living healthily. When the pandemic hit, the graduates began to realise how important the right eating is to a person’s wellbeing and put their heads together to create a brand that has a mission to combat poor nutrition.
‘We have needed to work a bit differently ourselves to set things up as we can’t all physically be in the same place, but it’s been really easy to get started, and there is loads of help available.’
After doing some negotiations with manufacturer’s, the entrepreneurs managed to lower their stock prices and grow the business. Snackcess opened up in July, and went from selling a couple of boxes to sending out hundreds and turning over thousands.
‘My recommendation is simply do something little consistently that makes your business thought all the more genuine, regardless of whether that is setting up a gathering, or building a model.’
With help from a small grant by the University of Birmingham, Drinkwater, Barley and Fitzgerald continue to increase their business whilst creating an accessible way to keep our minds and body healthy.
