GRM Daily hosts gala celebrating UK talent

The second annual GRM Daily gala was hosted in partnership with Beats by Dre at the V&A Museum in London on the 9th of august. The gala was in celebration of black excellence in the UK entertainment and music industry. The Uk scene can at times be overlooked by America’s bigger and more traditional awards however GRM Daily has always supported Uk talent and will continue to do so, showing the world what the Uk has to offer.

The event was a night to remember and a time to celebrate and bring together some of the industries best talent. From music artists, hosts, presenters, entrepreneurs, comedians authors, YouTubers and influencers.

 The GRM Daily Gala invited the UK’s old-time favourites who have been in the industry for a while such as Stormzy, Ghetts, Tinie Tempah Micahel Daapah and Akala to the newer talent on the scene such as Fredo, Tion Wayne, Aj Tracey, Arrdee Ivorian doll and more. Everyone pulled out their best looks and gave the gram glamorous and classy looks. The ladies of youtube Nella Rose, Adeola Patronne and Mariam Musa showed up as a trio date and stood out going viral for their all-black outfits captured by fashion photographer Jade Keshia Gordon also known as jkgphotography due to her Instagram handle

GRM founder Post previously said: ‘Excited to be back celebrating the best in UK rap & grime music. It’s been an incredible year in music, congratulations to all of this year’s nominees.’
