Luxury fashion brand Farai London celebrates 1 year in business
London based Luxury fashion brand Farai is taking the world by storm. Last weekend the brand celebrated their anniversary. After only a year in business, Farai has been recognised as the fashion brand redefining swimwear for women but also for their novel prints that stand out from the crowd.
The brand’s colourful designs have been seen worn by the most fashion-savvy celebs including Kylie Jenner, Kristen Noel Crawley, Megan Thee Stallion, Jordyn Woods, Love Island cast member Amber Rose Gill and Lori Harvey and everyone wants to get their hands on their unique clothing. The brand has unfortunately fallen victim to fast fashion brands copying their work as everybody wants a taste of Farai London.
Owner of the brand MaryAnn Msengi created the brand in East London but it has gained inspiration from all over the world not limiting herself or her designs. This is what makes Farai London so special. The bold colours and shapes are a signature to the brand while still being timeless.
MaryAnne Msengi didn’t expect the reception she received after only a month open the brand found their design all over Instagram after Kylie Jenner posted herself in the signature, Gaia, in an array of colours now iconic on Instagram.
“All my customers look so good in the dress and hearing how confident the women feel, I feel like it’s a mission accomplished.”
MaryAnne Msengi
Despite a whirlwind of a year and many obstacles due to the pandemic Farai London has shown how there’s power in branding, marketing and unique designs.
Many businesses went bust and cracked under the pressure however those that stood out and adapted to make the situation work in their favour made it through and also exceeded expectations. People will buy into good quality and distinct designs, Farai London has brought both these aspects and more. We can’t imagine what this coming year will bring for the brand and wish them all the best.
