May 7, 2021Everette Taylor is an American marketing executive, entrepreneur, philanthropist and public speaker. He is the chief marketing officer of Artsy, the largest fine art marketplace in the world and the founder of ET Enterprises which deals with the overseeing of several million-dollar businesses. In 2018, the company saw three-times its growth over the previous year. Taylor was recognised as a Forbes 30 Under 30 All-Star Alumni.
Taylor’s personal story is an inspiring and touching story. Growing up he struggled with homelessness and dropping out of high school at an early age. These struggles motivated Taylor to start his own event marketing software company at the age of just 19, which he sold 2 years later. His keen enthusiasm to changing not only his life but those of others seeking help and guidance has been a big part of Taylor’s journey.
His Instagram account is dedicated to teaching his followers how to scare and grow their own social media presence. His commitment to giving back and helping others does not stop there. Taylor launched his own clothing line Unity Over Self in 2013 to raise money for children with autism and in 2018 he partnered with actress Zoe Saldana to launch media platform BESE and the drug and alcohol addiction prevention app Hayver.
Taylor has been recognised and awarded for his many achievements in the marketing and social media industry. Black Enterprise Magazine named him Social media Influencer of the year in 2016 and The Root included Taylor in their Root 100 list of the most influential African Americans in 2017 and his most recent being making the Forbes under 30 list.
