Sneakerdrop: The Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “White/Sail”

The sneakerhead community is getting more and more experimental, with sneaker brands such as Nike recreating classic silhouettes from deconstructed shoe forms, extra platforms and unique logo remakes. renowned Japanese designer Chitose Abe teamed up with Nike to create the  Sacia X Nike vapour waffle “white Sail” the name is clearly representative of the nude colourway and the chunky style. The cool nude colourway is one of four other colourways available including the Dark iris and Sesame. The construction of the shoe is built with style and comfort in mind using breathable Flyknit textiles for that lightweight feel essential for the summer months.

The shape of this new sneaker throws it back to when new balance came into the scene and brought the chunky cool sneaker shape  back into fashion. The sole has a similar look to the crocodile sole that is now popular after the release of the  Run Star Hike sneakers with a softer and more squared shape. 

The detailing is impeccable with a double Nike tag at the front, one all black and one with an orange Nike accent detail.  The varied textures on the shoes fit together perfectly and make for a more luxury and exclusive look, something everyone is interested in these days.
