Meet Karimah Hassan, the artist who accumulates her designs from the studio to the street. Recognized for her community showcase teasers, exhibiting artwork alongside circles of creatives, Hassan takes pride in connecting the atmosphere of her work with the audience. 

During the pandemic, Hassan connected with her protagonists on social media by encouraging people to direct message her by responding to ‘How are you feeling?’ with a selfie attached, to create a portrait of them whilst giving others a platform to share their stories. As we sit down with Hassan, we’ll be covering topics including where she takes her inspiration from, what impact she would like to make on society and who Karimah Hassan really is.
