Meet the brilliant minds that have made it on to MYCOMEUP’s list for the Top 10 Gen Z Entrepreneurs To Look Out For In 2022. We’ve handpicked these business fanatics that have been earning big, making an impact in their communities, and keeping the creative spark of 2022 alive. These under twenty fives prove, even with little education or direction at the start of a career, determination is the key to success. 

Ben Towers

Towers was named as ‘One of The Most Influential Teenagers on The Planet’ in 2016 by The Sunday Times. This Gen Z entrepreneur has managed to jam pack his years acquiring commercial knowledge and gaining valuable experience in the working world. Towers started a digital marketing agency named ‘Towers Design’ at the age of eleven, having been the first person to hire himself as an apprentice in his very own company, in order to avoid attending sixth form; a bright and imaginative move, one would say.  

Following this, Towers invested in technology start-ups and advised companies including Twitter, Disney, GSK, amongst others, along with the UK and New Zealand Governments. Speaking at corporate events worldwide, Towers has mastered his public speaking over the years, completing his first conference at age fourteen. 

Now the twenty-two-year-old has an objective –  to change the digital generation’s mental health awareness. In early 2020, Towers co-founded ‘Tahora’, a well-being app which connects workplaces and supports inclusion and conversation to make employees happier beyond their work-life. 

Gurvin Singh Dyal

 As a London student with little income, the self-taught online marketing whizz Dyal, started out by investing fifty pounds at nineteen years old. Using eCommerce and drop-shipping, Dyal quickly learned how much profit he could make and was soon achieving a healthy revenue of up to three-thousand pounds a week. Dyal was especially gifted as he had never had a teacher to guide him or found a role model in the industry to look up to. Yet, despite this, he was on a mission to teach younger generations the tricks of the trade.

Dyal founded Academy2Earn, an online platform which educates students on how to reach their financial goals with investments and online marketing, using step by step guides and tutorials. With over eight thousand enrolments for his course, Dyal is set to make a difference to people’s lives and help them achieve what they strive for. 

Scott Hiett

Named ‘The next generation of computer science’ by Forbes, Hiett has already founded four businesses including MusicPals, Edge, SimSync and Subso. The entrepreneur has always had a love for programming and over time started developing video games when he wanted more challenging and stimulating tasks which is when he released SimSync. The platform was a Sims 4 multiplayer modification that Hiett co-founded in 2018. 

In 2019, Hiett interned as a developer for Edge, an eSports advertising platform for influencers that automate payments and create campaigns for brands. A year later and the computer science devotee was promoted to Head of Engineering and Co-Founder, due to his pure dedication and determination. The entrepreneurship continues as Hiett started to develop MusicPals in 2020, a programme that matches people in a chat room based of their music taste and connect artists to their fans. 

Henrie Kwushue

London based Presenter, DJ and Content Creator, Kwushue founded HTK Productions, an agency that focuses on comedy, entertainment and factual content. Kwushue’s Youtube series became viral, after premiering ‘Is Your Area Changing’ a programme about gentrification in a light-hearted way. 

Now, Kwushue is undergoing a project, creating short films in a series format named ‘Untold Stories’ hiring creatives with less privileged backgrounds to work with her, through her own production agency in partnership with Converse and funded by Dazed. Kwushue wishes to unite communities regardless of their circumstances. 

Nella Rose 

This Gen Z is known for being one of the biggest social media influencers with one of the biggest personalities. Rose vlogs on YouTube with over 600K subscribers, interviews celebrities and spreads body inclusivity and positivity all over Instagram. With previous collaborations with Desenio, Fashion Nova, Triller and Missguided, Rose has always been one to show off her fashion on social media. Now, Rose is the proud CEO of Faces London, a unisex streetwear clothing brand that has almost 30K followers. 

Vicky Grout

Creative and entrepreneur, Vicky Grout, began snapping shots on her camera at fourteen and has since become an established celebrity photographer following London culture. Grout’s unique shooting style has led her to photographing some of the most iconic London artist’s like Skepta and AJ Tracey. The Gen Z Londoner, wanted to gain more knowledge in fashion and street photography so started collaborating with brands like Nike, Clash Magazine and Adidas. 

Grout now plans to use her social media as a platform to touch on social issues, work on problems with society and share connections with other creatives. 

Dylan Naalima 

Video creator and influencer, otherwise known as Just Dylan, is on the road to 100K subscribers on YouTube and is known for a comedic take on general day to day activities and conversations. With Naalima’s ever first video posted seven months ago, the Gen Z influencer has beenracking up the followers in lockdown by performing his honest comedic remarks which has led him to a following of 18K on Instagram. 

Iman Gadzhi 

After dropping out of school at seventeen in a small town in Russia. This Gen Z entrepreneur has made it his life’s mission to himself to better the educational system by founding his own education company for agency owners. He started out by manging the social media advertising for small companies, inexperienced in promoting themselves. He quickly realised that becoming an agent was the way to make money. Now, Gadzhi is the proud founder of IAG Media and GrowYourOwnAgency.com, launched primarily on YouTube and social media. These are digital marketing agencies created to have a remarkable return on investments for clients as well as teaching people how to begin and scale their agencies. 

Hayley Mulenda

This multi-award-winning international speaker has been sharing her story about how to turn pain into purpose. The change agent and author talks about how personal development is necessary. She stresses the importance of being self-confident as well as being your own biggest supporter. Mulenda runs conferences for world-leading firms in Africa, the USA and Europe, spreading mental health awareness for millennials and considering ways to tackle mental health head on in a positive way. At only eighteen, Mulenda published her first book named ‘The ABC’s To Student Success’, a guide to the way in which to maintain a healthy mindset, offering tips and strategies. 

Hilary Xherimeja 

Entrepreneur, Hilary Xherimeja, is reporting upon and outlining expressionism in youth culture, focusing predominantly on the Gen Z and Millennial generations. As the founder and CEO of Mission Statement Magazine, Hilary has been a great success. At 18 and working in PR, Hilary linked up with her business partners and wanted to create a relatable platform that showcased upcoming creatives and new talent. 

As the voice of Gen Z culture Xherimeja is ‘dedicated to reflection on the past year and the resulting impact that has refracted through the worlds of art, fashion, politics and contemporary culture, whilst paying homage to the voices that are emerging from the chaos.’
