The sport lover and founder of Tala, the sustainable activewear label, Grace Beverley has recently raised almost six million dollars to expand her business.

The British entrepreneur and social media influencer are heard to have some top-notch investors joining her journey to take her label international and recruit new talent. Venrex, the venture capital firm based in the UK has acquired stakes in the company, along with Nicola Milner, Michelle Kennedy and Simon Mottram.

Since launching her label in 2019, Beverley has been funding her company out of pocket. Now with Tala in demand, the entrepreneur is ready to take her label to the next level with the help of investors.

‘Now it’s about scaling those existing channels and lines of communication, with different forms of marketing, and really articulating how Tala products tick all the performance and sustainability boxes.’

It was important for Beverley to have investors that shared her same values on inclusivity and sustainability, which is why she opted for these specific investors.

‘It’s not just what we shout about externally, it’s what we do internally too. We wanted investors who believed in the same’ stated the entrepreneur.
