Mentos + Influencer = Makeup challenge

Australian Makeup artist and social media influencer Rowi Singh has partnered up with Mentos Mint to promote their new fresh gum.

In March, Mentos launched two new Pure Fresh gum products: a Bubblefresh bottle and Cherry roll. The launches will be supported by a £2.1m above the line ‘Yes to Fresh’ campaign that encourages consumers to use indulgent refreshment to escape the mundane and say yes to unexpected and new situations.

With 314K followers, Rowi Singh made an Instagram Reel with the Mentos Mint product, specifically the bubble fresh bottle and captions the reel as “to say yes to new skills with Pure Fresh Gum”. Her way of doing so was a makeup challenge, and attempted to do her eyeliner in one stroke. In the reel Rowi Singh captions the makeup challenge as stating she finds eyeliner scary and this is a good way to challenge herself. For a creative flair and added difficulty, Row Singh tried to draw a flower (which turned out pretty good) above her eye within the one stroke. 

Rowi Singh finished the Reel by including the hashtag #YesToThePure, and challenged her followers  to share your @mentosau gum skills using 1 of the packs and #YesToPureFresh to win a year’s supply of the new gum.
