Migos take it back to their roots with Culture III

The successful trio Migos have released Culture III the album bringing Hip Hop and trap beats for our summer playlists. Quavo, Offset and Takeoff bring in new catchy adlibs with the same hard-hitting beats and deep bases. Despite being delayed due to the pandemic the album is well worth the wait and exceeded expectations.

Migos started their collective career in 2008 and became influential stars in 2017 with the release of Culture and their song Bad and Bougie drawing in millions of fans and dedicated followers. Ever since the first culture album, Migos has changed the culture of Hip Hop and influenced the sound and aesthetic of today’s music. 

The album has already been recognised by the legend Jay Z. Quavo showcases a text received from Jay – Z congratulating the group for the new release.

 The album has the approval of Jay-Z with a special shoutout to the song Avalanche. Music fans along with music critics will certainly be paying extra attention to Avalanche and the tune is sure to hit the top of the charts this summer.

Jay-Z Gives High Praise To "Culture III" In Text Exchange With Quavo

Migos’ previous Culture albums have featured rapper Cardi B, Travis Scott, Dj Khaled, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane and others. Culture III features artists such as Justin Bieber, Drake, Future and carrying on the legacy of Juice WRLD, Pop Smoke who both passed away in the last year and a half.

“That Avalanche song is beautiful,” reads one part of JAY-Z’s text. “Congrats to you and the guys on the album. Peace God!”

Quavo replied Thanks OG  as well as adding  “We Put Everything We Had Into This One.” 

The music video for Avalanche and Modern Day has been released. Well known for their interesting and flashy music videos Migos do not fail to deliver. The music video for Avalanche Migos takes it back to their roots bringing a more classy and sophisticated feel possibly influenced by the jazz and blues era with a band playing behind them. The video combined with the lyrics makes a statement about how far the three have come from Lawrenceville, Georgia, to becoming global stars as well as the legacy they will leave behind for their family.
