The public figure, Ali Tate Cutler, opens up conversations about body inclusivity as she poses effortlessly in British Vogue’s recent Instagram post. The model, podcast host, mental health and animal rights activist is using her social media handles to bring issues to light and build an accepting society.

Raised in Silicon Valley, she aimed to follow her passion as a professional soccer player, which she played for twenty years as a goalkeeper. ‘It taught me resilience and that I can do difficult things.’ Whilst studying in London and playing for a soccer team, Tate decided to enter a curvy supermodel competition.

As one of the finalists, Cutler was offered a contract with an agency where she decided to take a year out to try out this potential new profession. ‘I couldn’t believe it. I never thought anyone would consider me model material, it was all such a crazy time for me.’ In order to maintain her energy levels, she had followed a diet of animal protein. With the news of her father being diagnosed with diabetes and cancer, on the point of starting her new job, Cutler was spurred on to a healthier living lifestyle with nutritional based eating and a more spiritual connection to health.

Cutler started ‘The Love You Give’ podcast in 2018, where the model interviews experts in self-help which guides listeners to fulfilling an integrated life working on wellness, business and body positivity. ‘I am amazed by every one of my guests and the quality of their teachings, and always come away from every conversation inspired to be my best self.’

The same year, Cutler collaborated with Reformation, a sustainable clothing brand, to introduce inclusive sizing from zero to twenty-two. ‘When I got to design a plus-size line for them, it was like all my dreams had come true.’

In 2019, Cutler set the standard, as she became the first size fourteen model cast in a Victoria Secret’s campaign ‘So many women were writing to me how my confidence with my body made them feel stronger and more beautiful in their own bodies.’ Since making history in the fashion world, Cutler has since worked with some of the most distinguished labels in the industry including J Crew, Mango, Lucky Brand and Ralph Lauren.

Cutler has future prospects to make low carbon footprint products that tailor for all shapes and sizes ‘I would love to create a vegan and sustainable shoe line that goes up to bigger sizes.’ After leaving her inclusive and eco-friendly mark on the fashion industry, she plans to  ‘buy a plot of land and live off the grid with my husband and family, and start a farm and animal rescue, a place where I could host retreats and have some of the amazing people I have met come to teach and hold a space of healing.’
