Bright Network was created with the simple mission of connecting the next generation with the opportunities, insights and advice to succeed as the workforce of tomorrow. Bright network was created by CEO and founder James Uffindell in 2013  after he saw a gap in the market.

Here’s what he said in an interview with Techround.

“I could see the disconnect between these talented young people coming out of university and employers struggling to find the right people for the job, or not getting diverse talent because students didn’t have their own network they could tap into.

The platform has succeeded in its missing and is only growing stronger. Currently, they have over 400,000 members and work with 250+ employers including Goldman Sachs, KPMG, M&S, Morgan Stanley, Police Now, Teach First, UBS and Vodafone. The platform connects ambitious young people aspiring to have their own business’s one day to fast-growing startups, mentors and large corporates.

Bright Network aims to give young people from diverse backgrounds the network and skills to become future entrepreneurs and employees at leading companies. This is achieved through career advice provided through mentors in various industries from tech, marketing, finance and so many more. Bright Networks website is not only informative but also practical giving you quizzes to find out your perfect career. As well as free courses and new job opportunities being updated on the website on a regular basis. Last but not least Bright Network hosts events targeted at recent graduates searching for career options and wanting to explore their options.
