‘The King of the Fucking North’ at it again purchasing a fresh, gold statement necklace from the well-established bling station based in Hatton Gardens ‘A Jewellers.’

Europe’s No.1 celebrity jewellers opened in 2008 with an increasing demand for bold, ostentatious designs, often being sought-after by London’s music scene. The owner and founder, thirty-two-year-old, Abtin Abbasi had the trick of the trade from a very early age back at school ‘I had my own tuck shop so to speak’, selling drinks and sweets to classmates.

At only eighteen, Abbasi was offered a Brietling watch to sell for a friend of his, lacking knowledge of watches he was told Hatton Garden was the place to visit. One trip and his entrepreneurial journey started, as he managed to find someone to purchase the item and made a profit. From then on out, Abtin ‘put the word out to a network of people that had more watches to offer.’

Abbasi later studied business management for a year at university, however, he believed it was interfering with his jewellery business so decided to leave during his second year. After networking as much as possible, over time he kept building the brand and buying jewellery all around the UK, whilst launching his new flagship shop in Hatton Garden in 2008.

As things started to progress, Abbasi promoted his business through ‘small celebrities and rappers’, which has since advanced to selling to big grime artists like Burna Boy, Shiva, and Slow Thai, all hitting London’s best-kept secret for ice to upkeep their lavish lifestyle.

‘I’ve proved to myself from starting with nothing that anything is possible’ Abbasi announced as some of his sales now rack up to around £70,000 per piece. Now this entrepreneur feels as if he has ‘conquered the UK market’ future plans are set to hit the US market to expand the business.
