Wizkid tweets hinting the release of Made in Lagos tour

Wizkid has got fans across the world eagerly waiting for the ticket release of his next tour after tweeting about a potential tour for his latest album made In Lagos.

The Nigerian artist with more than 70 awards released his 4th studio album Made In Lagos on October the 30th 2020. The album has been a hit ever since with a variety of tunes from slow jams, party starters and afro bangers.  The album is seamlessly produced with a clear progression from song to song. It certainly feels like Wizkid has found his identity and voice in this album. Wizkid illustrates how bringing in elements of old and new can enhance a song as well as bring a feeling of nostalgia from older afrobeat, reggae, R&B and soul sounds. Wizkid pushes the boundaries in the Afrobeats genre making him one of the leading artists in the afrobeat world. He has also expanded the reach of afrobeats with fans across the world, his concert will undoubtedly be sold out in no time. 

 Wizkids dedication to shining a light on African music and artists is clear after having a concert in the O2 arena with thousands of screaming fans adoring him yet he said “tonight is about African music”.
